Responsibilities The power utility market is undergoing rapid and dramatic changes, with drivers such as artificial intelligence and the electrification of infrastructure expected to create exponential load growth for power utilities across North America. In response, Jacobs is expanding its Energy & Power Solutions team to expand the delivery of reliable power solutions to the North American market. By joining our team, you’ll have the opportunity to deploy your technical skills to develop design models and construction drawings for exciting projects that will impact the energy landscape of tomorrow. We have an immediate position available for a Senior Process Design Professional with expertise coordinating BIM models in the Bentley OpenPlant environment. Your responsibilities will include coordination with multi‑discipline teams to produce innovative three‑dimensional design models and construction drawings. You will be working closely with our engineering staff to support a diverse range of international multi‑sector clients.
Qualifications
At least 5 years’ experience producing complex BIM models and construction drawings in an engineering and consulting environment.
Proficiency with Bentley OpenPlant and OpenBuildings.
Strong knowledge of Bentley ProjectWise.
Proficiency with Navisworks Manage.
Experience with AutoCAD and Revit.
Strong problem‑solving skills.
Strong work ethic and commitment to meet project requirements and deadlines.
Communication and collaboration skills to work effectively on multi‑disciplinary teams.
Experience with plant design required.
Basic understanding and knowledge of simple cycle power plant mechanical equipment and systems is a plus.

The base salary range for this position is $86,600.00 to $151,500.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
