$25-$30+/hr Artists Who Care, founded in 2018, is a referral-based business connecting New York City families needing flexible childcare and artists with childcare experience seeking supplemental income. Positions filled thus far have included ad‑hoc babysitting, recurring weekly childcare positions ranging 2‑30hrs/wk, travel nannies as well as NYC overnight care while parents are away, birthday parties/private events, dog‑walking, overnight dog‑sitting, and tutoring. Artists Who Care is a business with a dedication to supporting the arts. 10% of AWC's annual net earnings is donated toward funding the arts in the New York public school system. At this time, Artists Who Care has limited spots available. AWC is
only
seeking the following: Female child caregivers local or in close proximity to Williamsburg/Greenpoint/Prospect Heights/Park Slope with availability for weekly recurring roles (i.e. recurring Tues/Thurs @ 3-6pm) throughout the upcoming school year. Candidates added to the AWC roster will additionally be considered for all future opportunities as they arise (including those with specialty rates such as travel nannies, tutoring, etc.) Local/close proximity to Williamsburg/Greenpoint/Prospect Heights/Park Slope Able to commit to a weekly recurring role aside from if you book a performance job (AWC has protocols in place should you need to temporarily step away from a childcare position for a theatre contract, day of filming, etc.) Preferred qualifications
