Overview The Hiltons of San Diego Sales Complex is looking for its next Sales and Marketing Coordinator to join their team! Ideal Candidate
At least six months of previous customer service experience.
Previous experience in hotel sales, events, and catering is preferred.
Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in English.
Working knowledge of Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to manage a multi‑line telephone.
What will I be doing?
Coordinate and execute all aspects of a site experience in close collaboration with hotel operations (F&B, Housekeeping, Banquets, Front Office) and your sales manager, while implementing a WOW factor.
Handle special requests for customers and sales & marketing managers while on/off property, including VIP reservations, amenity requests, and leisure activities.
Create and send all internal communication regarding timeline and upcoming site and media visits. This includes calendar appointments and Banquet Event Orders for VIP site visits.
Give weekly updates and feedback on site visits and hotel initiatives that need to be communicated to complex sales team.
Attend weekly marketing meetings.
Assist marketing department with developing social media calendars, scheduling posts, and traveling to hotels for content grabs.
Utilize programs such as Canva, DropBox and Teams to complete flyers, marketing collateral, and videos as requested by our sales team and hotel operations teams.
Attend all scheduled hotel photo shoots, and assist in opening space, redirecting guests and establishing signage to ensure minimal photo/video obstruction.
Stay solution focused while multitasking several requests for all properties while staying on top of last‑minute changes.
