Landscape Architectural Designer CKD

We are looking for self-motivated, ambitious, and talented individuals to work on tasks including all aspects of landscape design and construction drawing production at a range of scales from master planning documentation to detailed site design. This position requires excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills for use in an interactive design team, and an ability to work at a variety of project scales from planning to detail design. This position provides the opportunity for growth and advancement.
Experience & Education
Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program, related fields or an AA degree will be considered
1-4 years of experience working under the direction of a licensed landscape architect
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft 365, and SketchUp
Experience with Revit and Adobe Creative Suite
Responsibilities
Develop concept designs and produce presentation materials and illustrative graphics
Draft plans, elevations, and construction details in AutoCAD
Participate in site visits, including field measurements, documentation, and meeting notes
Produce comprehensive landscape construction documents and packages
Develop planting plans, material palettes, and visual presentations
Create 3D models and renderings using SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software
Collaborate closely with team members in a supportive, design-focused studio environment
Contribute to project coordination and quality control across all design phases
Qualifications
Ability to work collaboratively as a team member
Strong written, oral, and graphic presentation and communication skills
Time management and multi-tasking skills
Knowledge of California native, climate-adapted plant material, and low-maintenance/lowwater plant selections
Understanding of irrigation design
Solid grasp of the principles and practices of landscape architecture and urban design
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Strong desire to learn in support of growing the practice and the profession
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds
