Role Description This is a part‑time, on‑site Music Teacher role located in St. Louis, MO. The Music Teacher will design and implement engaging music lessons for elementary students, introducing basic music theory, teaching instrument techniques such as ukulele or recorder, and guiding music performance skills. The teacher will also collaborate with colleagues to support the school's mission and encourage students' creative expression through music education. Additional responsibilities include organizing recitals or school concerts to showcase students’ musical progress.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Music Theory and Music Education to develop effective lesson plans
Skills in Music Performance, including experience with vocal instruction
Passion for teaching and inspiring young learners through music
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Previous experience in music education or teaching is preferred
Bachelor's degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field is preferred
