Nelson ygaard is seeking to hire a Marketing/Proposal Coordinator to join our marketing team. The coordinator or senior coordinator will work under the direct supervision of the Marketing/Proposal Manager and in partnership with marketing team members and planners across the firm. The work will support proposal preparation from beginning to end, business development including grant tracking, marketing material creation, and pipeline input.

You’re resourceful, curious, and communicative.

You’re reliable, proactive, and adaptable to new situations or changes in plans.
You have familiarity with the pursuit and proposal process. (This is not a B2C marketing position for communications or social media work.) You’re well versed in the public procurement process and know how to locate, read, and organize responses to RFPs and RFQs.
You are a team player and willing to jump in where and when you are needed most.
Your Responsibilities:
Work with sector leaders and planners to both lead and support business development activities, including developing capture plans for pursuits at all stages and managing proposals and interviews from start to finish. This will require organization, research, writing, editing, and document layout and design as well as print production when needed.
Assist in maintaining firmwide repository of marketing materials, including creating and updating staff bios, resumes, and project sheets.
Lead regional business development strategies for your sector (senior).
Qualifications for a Coordinator:
5+ years of marketing and proposal experience in the A/E/C industry or related field, or equivalent experience using relevant skill.
Familiarity with the pursuit and proposal process and development (responding to public agency RFPs and RFQs)
Good writing/editing and communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and ability to work on a deadline-driven schedule
Technically proficient in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Word
Salary and Benefits
The annual salary range for this position depends on location, qualifications and years of experience:
Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance; pre-tax transit and bicycling benefit; a 401k program; life insurance; and paid time off. Additionally, we offer flexibility to work from home up to 3 days per week.
