Senior Content Management System (CMS) Architect
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior CMS Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced content management solutions, with a particular emphasis on headless CMS platforms such as Contentful, Contentstack, Sitecore, Acquia/Drupal or similar. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in architecting scalable, flexible, and high-performance content delivery systems, and have a proven track record in full stack development across modern technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Design and architect robust CMS solutions leveraging headless platforms (e.g., Contentful, Contentstack, Sitecore, Acquia/Drupal), ensuring seamless integration with digital channels and applications.
Lead end-to-end implementation projects, including requirements gathering, technical design, development, deployment, and optimization of CMS architectures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver scalable and maintainable content solutions.
Develop APIs and backend services to support dynamic content delivery and personalization across web, mobile, and other digital platforms.
Ensure CMS platforms are secure, reliable, and performant by implementing best practices in coding, testing, and deployment pipelines.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to establishing development standards, code reviews, and technical documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Contentstack Certified Developer, Contentful Certified Professional).
Experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing.
Knowledge of SEO best practices and accessibility standards in content delivery.
Contributions to open-source CMS projects or active participation in developer communities.
