Part-Time Scenic Artist Job at Meadow Brook Theatre in Rochester

Job Dates Varies 2025-2026 Season (Sept 25-June26) Pay 16.25 per hour Meadow Brook Theatre located on the Campus of Oakland University, in Rochester, Michigan is accepting applications for Scenic Artist. This season MBT will produce 7 shows and will remount A Christmas Carol. The Scenic Artist is responsible for all paint treatments for the production. They will work directly with the Scenic Designer and Technical Director to create paint samples and develop a paint plan for each show. Requirements: 3 yrs. professional experience minimum Must possess excellent scenic and faux painting skills. Must possess the ability to work collaboratively with an artistic design team and adapt to designs as they change Previous experience working as a painter in a theatrical setting.
