What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Assist in the preparation of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and hazard labels under the supervision of senior staff
Research toxicological, chemical, and physical properties of USP chemical products to determine health and environmental hazards
Provide Handling Categories, potency evaluations, and safety information to staff and customers as required
Collaborate effectively within a team to meet time-sensitive project deadlines
Maintain excellent organization and attention to detail in all tasks
What is Required (Qualifications):
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a sciences-related discipline
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to research, think critically, and analyze conflicting data
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Word and Excel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Knowledge of toxicology, industrial hygiene, hazard and risk communication, and chemical regulation
