The Hatcher Group is seeking a talented Designer to join our award-winning team and contribute to creating visual solutions that inform, engage, and inspire. This is an opportunity to apply your design expertise to projects that make a meaningful impact for clients and communities.

What You’ll Do
Deliver a wide range of design solutions, including marketing materials, ad campaigns, logos, branding, annual reports, video graphics, illustrations, animations, conference materials, digital products, newsletters, infographics, and publications.
Conceptualize and create digital content, including social media graphics, email templates, web banner ads, and website wireframes.
Design print materials, from brochures and reports to event graphics, data visualizations, and out-of-home advertising.
Work closely with cross‑functional teams (marketing, digital, and video) to ensure designs meet campaign objectives and target audience needs.
Remediate and optimize documents to comply with Section 508 accessibility standards.
Manage multiple projects efficiently, meeting deadlines under pressure.
Perform additional duties as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 2–4 years of relevant experience, preferably in an agency or fast‑paced environment.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro, XD) and Mac OS; knowledge of Canva, WordPress, or other design tools is a plus.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), including creating templates and themes.
Familiarity with AI‑based design tools (Runway, Adobe Firefly, Storyboarder.ai, Topaz, etc.) is a plus.
Knowledge of 508 compliance remediation is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
Experience with After Effects and motion graphics is advantageous.
Strong understanding of design principles, typography, layout, color theory, and print production methods.
Exceptional organizational skills, creativity, and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
Excellent layout, typography, and compositional skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Team‑oriented with the ability to take direction and provide constructive feedback.
Compensation & Benefits
We are pleased to offer a competitive salary range of $63,000 to $78,000 per year for this position, tailored to your experience and aligned with our internal standards.
