Position Type: Elementary School Teaching / Music - Instrumental Date Posted: 5/1/2025 Location: Scenic Heights Elementary Date Available: September 2025 Closing Date: Until Filled PURPOSE OF POSITION: The Minnetonka Public Schools has elementary choir programs for children in grades 3-6. The choir meets to practice one day a week after school from September through May, with public performances. This position serves as the piano accompanist for the Grade 3 Anchor choir, during rehearsals and concerts. ASSIGNMENT DATES: September 2025 - May 2026 ASSIGNMENT DETAILS: The Grade 3 choir practices one day a week for 1.5 hours (day of week and time TBD) at Scenic Heights Elementary. QUALIFICATIONS: Demonstrated excellence in technical and expressive aspects of piano playing. Evidence of piano accompanying skills, including the ability to follow the conductor. Demonstrated ability to be flexible, dependable, and work a varied schedule. Experience working successfully with school-age students. Compensation: $2,574 Stipend This position is not eligible for medical or dental benefits.
