Position Purpose This safety‑sensitive position assists the Community Manager with operational and financial success of the residential property and exceeding resident service standards. The role focuses on leasing, marketing, resident retention, staff development, and ensuring community operations run effectively during designated office hours. Key Contributions Financial: Support the Community Manager in meeting/exceeding budget goals by achieving occupancy and rental rate targets, controlling expenses, accurate payroll reporting, revenue collection, and handling Unlawful Detainer procedures. Management, Recruiting & Staff Development: Assist in interviewing staff, promote resident relations, handle complaints, and rent collections, and supervise staff when the Community Manager is absent. Property Appearance/Upkeep: Maintain clean, well‑maintained property; conduct daily inspections for curb appeal, maintenance, cleanliness, and security. Customer Service: Maintain resident satisfaction standards, ensure emergency coverage, and accurately process leasing forms, maintenance orders, rent collection, and reporting. Perform other duties as needed. Experience: One or more years of residential management or customer service experience, or a combination of education and experience. Physical & Cognitive: Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds. Driving Requirements (if applicable) Driver must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record with company insurance carrier. Driver must have reliable means of transportation. Driver must be insurable at standard rates for driving. Driver must provide proof of personal auto liability insurance when using vehicles for company business. To be hired, candidates will be required to successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen.
