MLC’s Information Services Department serves our stakeholders through the Primary Resource Library, which includes an interlibrary loan service. This position processes incoming and outgoing lending requests and serves as the primary point of contact for libraries using Beehive Resource Sharing for troubleshooting and training. This position receives, routes, and manages MLC’s collection of serials and periodicals, and serves at the reference desk. What you'll need to be Successful Knowledge of interlibrary loan methods, best practices, and tools. Excellent attention to detail, research, customer service, and problem-solving skills; ability to work collaboratively as part of a team; knowledge of material sharing best practices; desire to improve library service for all Mississippians. Preferred Qualifications Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree and 1-2 years of experience. Agency Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Autographics Beehive Resource Sharing and/or OCLC Worldshare platforms is preferred. Preference may be given to those with public speaking and training development experience, and those with a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science.
