Join to apply for the Adjunct Instructor, Music role at Gonzaga University Institute for Climate, Water, and the Environment Overview Title: Adjunct Instructor, Music Area: College of Arts and Sciences Department: Music Telework Availability: On-campus Position Employee Classification: Adjunct Faculty Months per year: 4.5 Salary Range: $370.00 per credit Relocation reimbursement or signing bonus: No Responsibilities Provide weekly one-on-one applied low brass instruction to music majors, minors, and non-majors. Prepare students for juries, recitals, ensemble performances, and other performance opportunities. Maintain regular communication with students regarding progress, goals, and expectations. Collaborate with ensemble directors and other faculty to support student performance within the department. Submit grades according to established deadlines. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a Music Field Evidence of teaching effectiveness, including the ability to effectively respond to the academic needs of learners from diverse backgrounds. Evidence of the ability to use effective classroom strategies and pedagogies to advance equity, inclusion, and belonging.
