Contract w2 only :: Technical Writer (Banking, Payment and Credit Card domain experience)
Location: Berkeley Heights, NJ; Princeton, NJ.
Duration: Contract (Only W2 Contract).
Experience: 10 to 12 Years of industry experience.
Responsibilities:
- Research and Information Gathering: Interview product managers, study product samples, and gather data to understand the product's features and functionality.
- Content Creation: Write, edit, and proofread content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
- Audience Analysis: Assess the needs and technical knowledge of the intended audience to adjust the tone and technical level of the documentation.
- Documentation Management: Organize information, create diagrams, charts, or other visual aids, and manage documentation systems (such as content management systems or wikis).
- Collaboration: Work with cross‑functional teams, including engineering, QA, and customer support, to ensure documentation aligns with product development and user needs.
- Review and Testing: Incorporate user feedback to update and improve content, and test documentation for usability and accuracy.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent Writing Skills: Present complex information clearly and succinctly, with a strong grasp of grammar, style, and syntax.
- Technical Aptitude: Quickly grasp technical concepts and new tools; a background or degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., computer science, engineering) can be beneficial.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous proofreading and editing skills to ensure accuracy and functionality.
- Research and Analytical Skills: Break down complex data, analyze information, and organize it logically for the reader.
- Collaboration and Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for effectively communicating with diverse teams and stakeholders.
