Key Responsibilities:
Perform Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) to evaluate the environmental impacts associated with products and services.
Identify and apply eco-design concepts in the development of new products.
Design and implement approaches to reduce environmental impact throughout a product’s lifecycle.
Explore opportunities to enhance sustainability through innovative solutions and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with departments such as engineering, marketing, and procurement to embed sustainability into product development workflows.
Educate and support team members on eco-design techniques and sustainable practices.
Track and report progress toward environmental and sustainability objectives.
Keep up with evolving trends, regulations, and best practices in eco-design and environmental sustainability.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Sustainable Design, or a similar discipline.
A minimum of 3 years’ professional experience in eco-design, sustainability, or related areas.
Proficiency in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) tools and methodologies.
Hands‑on experience incorporating eco‑design strategies into product development.
Familiarity with sustainability frameworks and standards, such as ISO 14001.
Strong analytical thinking, communication, and problem‑solving capabilities.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in cross‑functional teams.
Solid organizational and project management abilities.
A genuine passion for environmental responsibility and sustainable innovation.
