Photographer I, News page is loaded## Photographer I, Newslocations: CT, New Haventime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: REQ-39327## WTNH/WCTX News 8 seeks a creative news photographer and editor.## ## The successful candidate will have a high degree of professionalism, effective communication skills, ability to organize and prioritize workload, and function well in high pressure situations.* Shoot and edit video for award-winning newscasts including daily packages, VO's/VOSOTS, special assignments, and natural sound packages* Additional focus on creating videos and photos for our web and social media platforms* Must be able to carry 50 lbs. of equipment (camera, tripod, lighting and audio equipment)* Must be able to set up for live shots on very short notice* Must be able to work under pressure* Run an ENG live truck. Helpful if you can run SNG truck.* Part 107 certified drone operator or willingness to obtain certification* Drive and maintain news vehicles* Suggest story ideas* Read newspapers, competitive websites, and follow social media daily.* Position requires performance of other job-related duties as assigned.* Confers with other personnel to discuss assignments, logistics, and shot requirementsRequirements & Skills:* Bachelors Degree preferred* Three years TV news experience* Must have valid license and good driving record* Experience in shooting and editing stories on a daily deadline basis* Familiarity with Premiere a plus* Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, have good attitude and be a team player* Ability to work weekends, holidays, and different shifts #J-18808-Ljbffr
