Be experienced and proficient at:
- Presenting to clients
- Preparing client/project proposals
- Negotiating fee proposals and requesting additional fees where possible
- Overseeing recruitment of staff
- Resolving staff issues
Technical / Project Delivery
Have the capacity to be responsible for the technical content of submissions and to define process to achieve the required results.
Have the capacity to define design process and standardisation of documentation including calculations, specifications, reports.
Have the capacity to lead MEP on high profile projects.
QAQC
Have the capacity to define processes to effectively implement QAQC, including collating lessons learned and devising methods of sharing information. Involved in the QAQC process by validating packages delivered by the MEP team.
Line Management & Mentoring
Responsible for line management of respective team management.
Leadership
Motivate associate directors, associates and respective team members.
Training and Development
Be responsible for defining T&D processes and identifying training programmes for staff.
Client Relations
Be point of contact for dispute resolution.
Commercial
Major project performance.
Strategy
Support the Regional Director with developing strategies.
Business Plan
Support the Regional Director with implementing the business plan.
Decision Making
Support the Regional Director in the decision‑making process.
Health & Safety
Assist the RD with formulating and applying appropriate policy for Health & Safety.
What do we need from you
Min 18 years experience with a Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field
