# Director of Video Production## •### @ashevilletouristsPosted on 11/24/2025•Full-time## Job DescriptionThe Asheville Tourists are seeking a Director of Video Production to help usher in a new era of Asheville Tourists Baseball. McCormick Field, home of the Tourists, is currently undergoing a $40 million renovation that will be complete for the 2026 season. This renovation will include a brand-new over 2,000 Sq. Ft. videoboard, brand-new control room, sound system, and camera system! \*\*Position Overview\*\*The Director of Video Production oversees all aspects of video content creation, including planning, production, editing, and distribution across digital and in-venue platforms. This position leads the video production team in developing creative assets that support marketing campaigns, partnerships, community initiatives, and in-game entertainment. The Director will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure that all video content aligns with brand standards, engages fans, and enhances the overall experience across multiple channels including a brand-new videoboard and our online broadcast.This individual should be a creative storyteller, experienced leader, and technically proficient in digital media platforms and video production tools.* Work in tandem with the sales and marketing departments to plan, write, produce, shoot, and edit high-quality video content for digital, social, and in-stadium outlets.* Manage a team of seasonal and gameday staff, providing creative direction, feedback, and project oversight* Oversee live events and game-day video operations, including videoboard content and live-streaming elements with multiple camera feeds and instant replay.* Technically Direct the broadcast keeping the graphics, replay in sync with the videoboard* Oversee the operation of music and sound systems during games and events as assigned.* Stay current on video and digital media trends to continually improve creative output and fan engagement.* Ensure all production equipment and systems are maintained, tested, and ready for use each game.* Provide on-site support during events as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.* Assist with the total operation of all McCormick Field events.* Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.\*\*REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:\*\** Four-year bachelor’s degree required* Strong work ethic and burning desire to be successful in the sports industry* Multiple years of professional experience in video production, content creation, or digital media, preferably in sports.* Expert proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop) or similar video editing software.* Knowledge of Studio Equipment (i.e. Green Screen, Lights, microphones)* Excellent customer service and communication skills.* Strong organizational and time management skills* Willingness to work nights and weekends* Professional Baseball experience strongly preferredEstimated Start Date: February 01, 2026We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.LocationHybridAsheville, North CarolinaPayPay not disclosedSimilar roles/responsibilitiesVideographerContent ProducerVideo Editor #J-18808-Ljbffr
