About the Position We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Process Design Analyst to support Trading cost and Manufacturing Plant cost management, and other costing business activities such as cost process and solution design, cost analysis, pricing strategy, and financial reporting. This remote position works EST hours and may require quarterly travel to Morrisville, NC.
Key Responsibilities
Cost Management Support:
Provide robust support for trading and manufacturing cost management initiatives, conduct in‑depth cost process solution and design to identify cost‑saving opportunities, implement strategies to enhance overall cost‑effectiveness, collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop and refine costing models and methodologies, ensure costing processes align with business objectives and industry best practices, and conduct comprehensive cost process analysis using advanced analytical tools.
Pricing Strategy Development:
Contribute to the development and implementation of pricing strategies that balance profitability and market competitiveness, provide market trends analysis, competitor pricing, and customer demand insights, and collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment and effectiveness.
Collaboration and Coordination:
Coordinate seamlessly with key teams such as Global Supply Chain (GSC) to maintain high service quality and efficiency, fostering strong working relationships and effective communication channels.
Project Management:
Lead and manage costing‑related projects, ensuring successful execution and delivery within defined timelines and budgets, applying project management methodologies and tools to plan, monitor, and control project activities.
Process Design and Improvement:
Utilize business process design expertise to identify areas for improvement in costing processes, design and implement streamlined and efficient costing workflows, and leverage digital tools and technologies to enhance productivity and accuracy.
Presentation and Communication:
Deliver high‑quality presentations to senior management, stakeholders, and team members, effectively communicating complex costing concepts and data, ensuring clear and concise communication of key findings, recommendations, and action items.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years in enterprise financial digital transformation with a focus on costing and cost management.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, SAP consulting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
2+ years of project management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
SAP experience specifically within Finance and Controlling (SAP‑FI, SAP‑CO).
Experience delivering solutions to complex costing issues.
Strong understanding of costing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Experience with digital tools and technologies used in financial analysis and reporting with SAP S/4HANA.
Experience managing cadence for digital transformation initiatives.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex cost issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
Strong experience with business requirements documentation and stakeholder alignment.
Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity, synthesize insights quickly, and recommend practical actions.
Certifications preferred: PMP, SAP (Certified Application Associate or higher), CBAP, ACCA.
Bilingual fluency in Mandarin and English strongly preferred.
The base salary budgeted range for this position is $105–$135 k. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission. This remote position works EST hours and may require quarterly travel to Morrisville, NC.
