You are invited to apply as a skilled Civil AutoCAD Designer. The role supports the design and construction of industrial, manufacturing, and office facilities, including site infrastructure such as roadways and underground utilities on a 2,500–acre site in Austin, TX.
Base pay range $40.00/hr - $60.00/hr
What to Expect Use your drafting and modeling expertise to create and review design drawings, plans, profiles, sections, and details for civil infrastructure projects.
What You’ll Do
Prepare design drawings, plans, profiles, sections, and details, including initial model and sheet set up in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
Coordinate civil CAD modeling with multidisciplinary project teams utilizing Revit and other modeling programs.
Work with the BIM/CAD support team to achieve consistent results and incorporate new design into existing facility models.
Assist with CAD custom content creation and tool development.
Produce quality models.
Present 30%/60%/90% model reviews to stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
What You’ll Bring
Minimum 3 years of civil drafting for building and infrastructure projects.
Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
Ability to determine efficient drafting and modeling methods to convey desired engineering design with construction drawings.
