Position Summary In this role, you’ll flex your media skills towards clients’ unique business needs and the culture their consumers live within. You bring expertise across all media channels, the ability to identify opportunities and the confidence to work with clients toward innovative solutions. You are excited about the changing media landscape and are well‑versed in the technical and operational requirements to drive performance. You build insightful media plans, anchored in insights, cultural nuance, and meaningful measurement.

Your Responsibilities Live and breathe paid media

Be the main media point of contact for clients: clearly and simply articulate strategy and establish trust

Present recommendations to clients and internal teams with the ability to change the narrative to connect to each audience and enable decision making (an internal account person vs. day‑to‑day client vs. client CMO)

Collaborate in managing client objectives, target audiences, and desired outcomes, and clearly communicate these to the cross‑functional team

Inform and utilize comms strategy inputs (competitive, consumer, category, etc.) to define role of platforms

Be an ambassador to and work seamlessly with other disciplines – specifically account, strategy, and creative

Spearhead smart campaigns

Lead your team in developing media plans across all channels, aligning with business and comms objectives, determining platform priorities, creative strategy, and measurement framework (primary focus is digital, but this will include RFP‑ing direct partners and coordinating with the linear team as well)

Inspire quarterly testing roadmaps, be responsible for thought leadership, and evaluate alphas/betas/new partners

Leverage deep knowledge of tech and industry capabilities to help evaluate and evolve data/tech partners and lead clients through a changing digital landscape

Connect strategy to other non‑paid channels (CRM, email, organic social, etc.) to encourage more insightful and intentional campaign planning and execution

Bring the work into the world

Accountable for your team’s campaign activation through various platforms (CM, SA360, Facebook/Instagram, Google Ads, Snap, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest) and maximize media performance through ongoing optimizations

Evaluate media proposals, provide a strong POV, and hold direct partners accountable to performance

Merchandise wins and harvest opportunities that result

Help others do this too

Manage a team of digital activation specialists; invest in their development and growth at the agency

Responsible for team’s ongoing quality assurance process to ensure all aspects of a campaign’s creative, settings, budget parameters, brand safety needs etc. are met

Contribute to the vision for the department and instill throughout the team

Your Background

6-8 years of digital media experience, 4 years of campaign management experience in Paid Social, Paid Search, and/or Programmatic. Retail media exp and influencer program management experience is a plus.

2+ years of management experience

CPG and/or Healthcare experience preferred

Well‑versed in tools including but not limited to partner UI’s (Google, DoubleClick, Adobe, Adelphic, TTD, Facebook/Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn)

Working knowledge of research tools like ComScore, Helixa, Nielsen, MRI/Simmons, etc.

Knowledge of asset trafficking to ensure accuracy and create reasonable timelines and expectations for deliverables

Basic understanding of site tagging and analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics

Expert in analyzing campaign data to consult on optimizations and adjustments within the campaign flights and translating learnings for upcoming campaigns

Experience working across various internal teams (Planning, Account, Creative, Production) to both understand the overall plan/moving pieces and push the work where needed

Ability to write clear and concise presentations in a straight‑forward and enlightening way

Present effectively and as a credible storyteller in client meetings for new business

Experience managing and coaching junior specialists, creating opportunities for them to grow, while holding work accountable to standards and deadlines
