About the Role We are seeking a
Director of Portfolio Marketing , a senior leader responsible for defining, systematizing, and championing a portfolio‑first approach to how CoreWeave organizes, names, and communicates its offerings. This role sits at the intersection of brand strategy, product marketing, and business growth, ensuring that our expanding platform of cloud and AI services is not only understood, but also compellingly differentiated in the market.
Naming
Develop and document the naming architecture – a system of naming hierarchy and logic, based on our portfolio.
Develop and iterate naming strategy for each launch, based on our portfolio.
Create and generate high‑impact, well‑judged names.
Develop and manage the naming process and mechanism.
Build frameworks that accommodate new acquisitions and portfolio expansion over time.
Brand/Portfolio Architecture
Develop and document the system by which we organize our offerings.
Develop and document strategic points of view and guidance on how each type of offering should relate to the core brand, and to each other.
Provide high‑level guidance to stakeholders across the company on how to apply and use brand/portfolio architecture when marketing individual products.
Manage and govern logo/brand architecture governance mechanism.
Research & Insights
Manage and report on high‑impact research programs such as brand health tracking, category awareness and usage tracking, and competitive benchmarking.
Identify gaps in data and insights that fuel high‑bar portfolio marketing work, and propose solutions to address them.
Leadership & Team Development
Provide timely advice and counsel to business and marketing leaders.
Manage and mentor strategists, namers, and analysts who aspire to grow with the company.
Demonstrate proven success managing time and juggling multiple projects in a high‑growth, dynamic environment.

Basic Qualifications
10+ years of experience in naming, brand/portfolio architecture, product marketing, and research/insights.
Deep understanding of the full portfolio – both product and non‑product – and our business model (field needs, partner network, customer segmentation, sales motion).
Understanding of cloud and adjacent markets, and a wide and current view on competitive landscape and SWOT of our brand and portfolio.
Understanding of cloud architectures.
Ability to conceive, initiate, develop and sell new ideas in a team environment.
Analytical skills with a natural curiosity to measure, test, learn, and iterate.
Preferred But Not Required
Background in cloud, AI/ML, accelerated computing, or GPU infrastructure.
MBA or Master’s Degree in a relevant field.
Experience working with M&A teams to align brands and naming conventions for maximum business impact and customer clarity.
Compensation The base salary range for this role is $135,000 to $198,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).
