ColorVibes Craft Studio is a vibrant, welcoming DIY workshop space where guests can express their creativity through guided craft experiences—from fluid painting to tufting and beyond. We're building a small, passionate team to help bring joy and creativity to our community.
Position Summary We are seeking an energetic, dependable, and enthusiastic Team Member to support daily operations, with a particular focus on holiday and weekend hours. This role is ideal for someone who loves crafting, enjoys engaging with people, and thrives in a creative, fast‑paced environment. While this position is currently temporary, there is potential for extension into 2026 based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities This is a hands‑on, customer‑facing role with operational duties. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Store Operations & Customer Service
Greet customers, explain project options, and assist with crafting
Assist customers with craft projects, including set‑up, basic instructions, and clean‑up
Monitor and manage customer flow, including walk‑ins and online reservations
Utilize the Square POS system for accurate transactions and discount application
Open and/or close the store as needed
Administrative Support
Lead / support workshops and private events
Maintain cleanliness and organization of studio, bathrooms, and storage areas
Marketing & Content Support
Create in‑store sample projects and displays
May help create content for Instagram, Reels, and other promotional channels
Total hours per week to be discussed
Must be available for a variety of shifts, including holidays, weekdays, evenings, and weekends, and have a flexible schedule
Final schedule to be determined
Operating Hours (Subject to Change)
Mon–Fri: 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Sat: 10:30 AM – 8:00 PM
Sun: 10:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Start Date & Training
Start Date : ASAP
Training : Primarily on‑the‑job, with guidance and support provided throughout
Qualifications
Prior experience in retail, hospitality, or arts/crafts instruction preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
Friendly, approachable, and customer‑service oriented
Comfortable working evenings and weekends
Passion for art, creativity and hands‑on projects a big plus!
