Job Description Crystal Springs Resort is seeking a Social Media / Content Creator Specialist, a full‑time position responsible for generating and posting organic social media content on a resort‑wide basis. The role supports various hospitality business groups, including hotel, spa, dining, weddings, social gatherings, and a sports club. The workspace is located in the Administrative Building of Crystal Springs Resort in Hamburg, NJ, with the possibility to work from home two days per week.

Responsibilities

Work with the marketing department to understand short‑term and long‑term marketing goals, and develop content strategies accordingly.

Handle all aspects of content creation, including capturing Resort photos and videos (scenery, guests), editing finished product, and publishing.

Manage, attend, and help develop shot lists for photoshoots.

Create daily content and videos primarily for social media platforms, which can also be used for the website, blog, and PR communications.

Measure and evaluate organic social media engagement statistics.

Monitor traffic increases due to new content and take action to improve these metrics.

Brainstorm/recommend ways to improve traffic by tapping into new platforms and channels.

Maintain content consistency and ensure alignment with the brand’s history and plans.

Stay up to date on current social media trends.

Requirements

Two years minimum prior work experience in social media / content creation field.

Ability to work proficiently with new and upcoming editing software.

Experience with Premiere Pro or other video editing software.

Experience with social media management software (Hootsuite or Later).

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc).

Copy‑writing proficiency.

Enthusiasm for the process with a mindset for storytelling.

Strong work ethic and fast learner with a desire to expand content creation and social media capabilities.

Attention to detail to ensure that all deliverables are met per provided spec.

Temperament to have submissions reviewed multiple times with feedback from various parties.

Strong organizational skills to keep up with various projects.

Flexibility to pivot among projects quickly and accept new direction if warranted.

Time‑management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at once with responsiveness to deadlines.

Flexible hours with weekend and evening hours required at times.
