Overview of the Position Our client is a leading University located in Westchester County, NY seeks an accomplished executive to serve as
Senior Vice President, Enrollment & Strategic Marketing
and pivotal leader charged with advancing the President’s vision for enrollment and marketing and ensuring seamless alignment of Admissions and Marketing strategy and operations across the University.
As a trusted advisor to the President and an influential member of the senior leadership team, this individual will play a critical role in fostering cross-functional collaboration across Admissions and Marketing teams, and sustaining momentum toward the University’s long-term aspirations. The ideal candidate will be a mission-driven leader who blends strategy with empathy, collaboration, and decisive leadership, ensuring that the university's vision is not only defined, but realized.
This role calls for a leader who combines
strategic vision, operational excellence, and a deep understanding of the student journey , from first awareness through graduation. The successful candidate will connect strategy to execution, align priorities across functions, and ensure that every aspect of marketing and enrollment contributes to the mission of expanding access and transforming lives through education.

Core Responsibilities Strategic & Operational Leadership
Provide executive leadership for university-wide enrollment and marketing strategy aligned with the university mission and strategic plan.
Develop and execute a comprehensive, data-informed enrollment strategy to drive sustainable growth across all academic programs and student populations (traditional, online, adult, international, etc.).
Oversee the entire admissions lifecycle: inquiry, admission through registration, ensuring a seamless student experience from first contact to enrollment.
Build and lead a high-performing, collaborative team that values creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Partner with senior leadership, faculty, and staff to align enrollment and marketing priorities with academic and financial goals.
Marketing, Branding & Communications
Lead integrated marketing and communications efforts — including brand management, digital marketing, advertising, social media, and publications — to enhance the university's visibility and reputation.
Define and strengthen the University’s brand identity and ensure consistency across all platforms and audiences.
Develop comprehensive, data-driven marketing campaigns that inspire prospective students and strengthen university enrollment pipeline, including targeted outreach in the Caribbean and other key markets.
Leverage analytics to measure campaign effectiveness, optimize digital engagement, and continually improve marketing performance.
Champion the University’s brand in all public forums and ensure messaging aligns with institutional mission and values.
Establish annual enrollment goals, forecasts, and predictive models to inform decision-making and resource allocation.
Strengthen partnerships with high schools, community colleges, and educational organizations to expand referral and recruitment pipeline.
Collaborate with Financial Aid and Academic Affairs to ensure effective student recruitment, financial sustainability, and a smooth transition from inquiry to registration.
Identify strategic growth opportunities by assessing market demand, trends, and program performance.
Qualifications
Master’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
10–15 years of progressive leadership experience in higher education, including direct oversight of enrollment, marketing, or institutional strategy.
Demonstrated success developing and implementing enrollment and marketing strategies that drive measurable growth.
Proven ability to unite cross-functional teams around shared goals and execute large-scale initiatives.
Expertise in digital marketing and technology-driven enrollment management.
Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels.
Deep understanding of the higher education landscape, including enrollment trends, compliance, and student demographics.
