This role supports data-driven decision-making across clinical, operational, financial, and HR domains. The position combines advanced data management, statistical analysis, data visualization and reporting skills to enhance organizational performance, ensure data integrity, and deliver actionable insights.
Duties & Responsibilities
Collaborate with clinicians, operational teams, and senior leaders to design and conduct analyses that inform decision making.
Develop, implement, and maintain databases, data collection systems, and data warehouse structures that integrate clinical, financial, demographic, and HR data.
Acquire data from primary and secondary sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency through ongoing maintenance of merged data files and ETL processes between platforms such as EPIC, Immuware, and Agility.
Utilize SQL, R, SAS, and Business Objects to extract, clean, and analyze data while providing ability to automate repeat tasks and contribute to reduced error rates.
Design and develop dynamic dashboards and data visualizations to communicate key performance indicators and outcomes to stakeholders.
Conduct audits of clinical and HR systems to ensure data integrity, compliance, and adherence to regulatory standards while being able to identify and support improvements in clinical documentation to ensure accurate coding, quality and reporting.
Maintain data access controls and user profiles across systems to uphold data security and role-based access management.
Support front-end users of EMR and portals by providing feedback, and drive enhancements that align with evolving organizational needs.
Provide cross training within the team to strengthen data literacy.
Ability to learn newer tools and grow alongside expanding team's technical or data needs.
Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications Required
Bachelor's degree in Science, Information Management, Healthcare Information, Nursing, Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, Management Engineering, Business or closely related fields or as required by the position to be filled in the area of specialization inherent in the position may be required.
One (1) year (12 months) of data management/analyst work experience in a clinical or healthcare related field.
