About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven

Strategic Marketing & Business Development Manager

to lead our Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategy, orchestrate targeted events, and drive initiatives that convert strategic leads into revenue opportunities.

This hybrid role sits at the intersection of marketing, sales, and client engagement—ideal for someone who thrives on building meaningful relationships and delivering personalized experiences that move the needle for Nexus IT.

Purpose of the Role The purpose of this role is to create measurable business growth by bridging marketing and sales strategy. The Strategic Marketing & Business Development Manager drives engagement within high-value accounts through targeted campaigns, compelling storytelling, and world‑class event experiences that generate awareness, strengthen partnerships, and accelerate deal velocity.

You do this by identifying and engaging ideal client profiles, designing personalized ABM initiatives, delivering impactful events, and ensuring consistent follow‑up and conversion. Your ability to combine creativity with data‑driven insights will directly support revenue generation and brand expansion.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and execute Account-Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns tailored to high-value accounts across strategic verticals.

Collaborate cross‑functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Client Success teams to craft personalized messaging and multi‑channel content strategies.

Manage ABM and marketing automation platforms to track engagement, analyze performance, and optimize ROI.

Plan and execute high-impact strategic events (virtual, in‑person, and hybrid) aligned with ABM and growth objectives.

Own end‑to‑end event logistics—from concept design to post‑event analysis and follow‑up.

Qualify and pursue targeted leads from ABM campaigns and events to generate meetings and opportunities.

Maintain CRM data integrity and ensure accurate reporting on pipeline activity and lead progression.

Partner with leadership to continuously refine go‑to‑market strategies based on data, feedback, and market insights.

Requirements Experience and Education

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

2+ years of experience in B2B marketing, ABM, or business development roles.

Proven success in planning and executing strategic events that drive measurable pipeline impact.

Strong understanding of sales processes, CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), and ABM platforms (e.g., Demandbase, 6sense, etc.).

Demonstrated ability to collaborate with leadership and cross‑functional teams.

Experience in the technology or cybersecurity industry is a plus.

Familiarity with intent data and personalization tools is advantageous.
