2 days ago. Dive into an exciting role as a Senior Data Analyst at DigitalOcean. We’re looking for someone who can shape how GTM and Growth teams measure success, turning complex data into clear metrics and actionable insights that drive strategic outcomes.

What You’ll Do

Deliver insights that drive growth and strategic outcomes: analyze growth levers, funnel and marketing performance, and customer journeys to surface opportunities directly impacting revenue, LTV:CAC, and retention.

Build reporting and dashboards: own the development of scalable dashboards and reporting in SQL, Python, and BI tools (Looker, Amplitude, etc.), ensuring data accuracy and consistency across the organization.

Continuously improve data quality and governance, ensuring metrics align with Finance and Data & Analytics teams.

Experimentation & Testing: collaborate with Growth, Marketing, and Product teams to design and analyze A/B tests, feature launches, and campaigns, ensuring rigorous methodology and clear recommendations.

Leverage AI tools: apply AI‑powered analytics tools (e.g., for data cleaning, summarization, visualization, forecasting) to increase speed, depth, and scalability in analysis.

Data storytelling: translate complex analyses into simple, compelling narratives for executives, product managers, marketers, ensuring insights lead to action.

Cross‑functional collaboration: partner with Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Finance teams to align KPIs, share insights, and influence decision‑making across the business.

Documentation: write clear, thorough analysis documents, including assumptions, methods, and business implications.

What You’ll Add to DigitalOcean

Strong analytical technical foundation: 46+ years of data analytics experience (advanced SQL, data‑model building);

Experience in forecasting and growth metrics across marketing, sales, or broader GTM teams (e.g., funnel conversion, CAC, LTV, pipeline, retention).

Business impact orientation: proven track record of measuring marketing funnel performance, user growth, or revenue drivers and linking insights to action.

Experimentation skills: deep understanding of A/B testing, causal inference, and statistical best practices.

AI‑enabled productivity: comfortable using AI/LLM‑based tools to accelerate analysis, automate workflow, and surface insights.

Communication: excellent distilling complex findings into executive‑ready take‑aways, visually and verbally.

Collaboration: proven record of partnering with cross‑functional teams (Marketing, Growth, Finance, Data & Analytics) to spot opportunities and drive measurable results.

Curiosity & growth mindset: continuously seeking better tools, new methods, smarter ways to create impact.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation Range: $90,480 - $113,100
