Position Overview We are looking for a mid technical editor to join our team at the Pentagon.

Responsibilities Reviews intelligence products for proper grammar, punctuation, and syntax, as well as for logic, clarity, and consistency. Ensures that style and format conform to agency publication standards and that language presentation is consistent with prescribed style guides and specialized vocabulary of subject matter fields. Amends draft tables, tone boxes, and graphics to ensure the content supports and is consistent with the accompanying text. Ensures proper classification markings in accordance with IC guidance. Works with authors to revise products for narrative organization, and negotiates further revisions as needed.

Required Qualifications

Shift at the Pentagon is 0830 to 1630

3+ years of experience in producing all-source intelligence analysis and managing the production of analysis products

3+ years of experience as a technical editor in an IC organization

Ability to proofread, edit, and correct text for style and accuracy

Ability to apply IC analytic standards and analytic tradecraft standards as defined in the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act, Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) 203 Analytic Standards and ICD 206 Sourcing Requirements to the production of all-source intelligence products

HS Diploma or GED and 7+ years of experience with analysis or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant experience.

A current, active TS/SCI clearance #QinetiqClearedJob

Successful Completion of Pre-Employment Background Investigation required

Preferred Qualifications

Possession of excellent organizational and analytical skills

Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience with producing all-source intelligence analysis and managing production of analysis products

Experience working on the Middle East and Africa regions

Current CI Poly highly preferred
