What To Expect
Tesla Residential Energy is expanding rapidly, and clear, accurate communication is essential to helping customers, partners, installers, and internal teams understand our products and mission.
We are looking for a Communications Leader to lead storytelling for Residential Energy—translating complex technical details into simple, compelling narratives used across customer education, product launches, digital channels, and internal communication. Create high-quality content for multiple channels: Write and edit web content, customer stories, product pages, campaign copy, FAQs, talking points, internal updates, and leadership communications
Shape customer, installer, and product storytelling: Build a pipeline of authentic stories that demonstrate real-world impact, partnering with sales, service, and regional teams to surface strong examples
Support high-visibility external communication moments: Prepare concise statements, written responses, and narrative materials used during product announcements, customer programs, and other critical communications.
Partner closely with cross‑functional teams: Work with product, engineering, marketing, sales, operations, legal, and leadership to deeply understand capabilities and upcoming changes
Ensure clarity and accuracy in all messaging: Translate technical details into simple explanations that are easy to understand and highlight real customer value
Elevate internal communication: Craft succinct updates, launch briefs, and talking points that keep internal teams aligned on strategy, priorities, and roadmap changes
