About the Role We are seeking a talented and innovative Landscape Architect to join our team in Amman, Jordan. As a Landscape Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing sustainable, aesthetically pleasing outdoor spaces that harmonise with the local environment and meet our clients' needs.
Develop and execute landscape design concepts for a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and public spaces
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure integrated design solutions
Conduct site analyses and prepare detailed site plans, specifications, and cost estimates
Create visually compelling presentations and reports for clients and stakeholders
Manage projects from concept through to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets
Incorporate sustainable design practices and water-efficient landscaping techniques suitable for arid climates
Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure proper implementation of design plans
Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and local regulations affecting landscape architecture
Mentor junior team members and contribute to the overall growth of the department
Participate in client meetings and site visits to gather requirements and oversee project progress
What do we need from you
Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in landscape architectural design
Strong understanding of architectural design principles and project delivery processes
Proficiency in landscape design software, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
Experience with BIM processes, implementation, and workflows
Knowledge of sustainable design practices and environmental regulations
Familiarity with local flora and climate conditions in Saudi Arabia
Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Creative and innovative approach to landscape design challenges
Knowledge of relevant building codes and standards
Ability to work effectively in hot, arid climate conditions
Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous
