Role Description We’re looking for a detail-oriented and dependable assistant to join our Assessments and Authorizations teams. In this role, you’ll help keep treatment plans and insurance authorizations moving smoothly by coordinating with clinicians, insurance payors, and internal staff. You’ll be an important part of ensuring our clients receive timely services by handling the administrative and compliance side of the process.

What You’ll Do Communication & Coordination

Communicate with insurance payors to check on treatment plan requests.

Keep an eye on team emails to see when BCBA revisions are complete.

Follow up with clinicians to make sure reports and supporting documents are turned in on time.

Reviewing & Auditing

Review treatment plans for non-clinical compliance using our assessment rubric.

Audit documentation to make sure all required paperwork is included before treatment plans are submitted.

Double-check authorization date ranges so that requests are accurate.

Documentation & Workflow

Assist in sending assessments for signature and download completed forms.

Keep organized records of submissions, revisions, and authorization requests.

Authorizations

Submit authorization requests to insurance companies on time and with complete information.

Track approvals, denials, and expiration dates, and flag issues when they come up.

Qualifications

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Experience or knowledge in healthcare or working with insurance authorization processes is preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software.

Clear written and verbal communication in English with both internal staff and external payors.

Familiarity with Central Reach, Excel, ClickUp, PandaDoc or similar platforms.

A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
