About the job Lighting Workshop is seeking a Lighting Designer to join our team. The candidate is ideally well-rounded in both creative design sensibilities and technical skills, applying their knowledge on a variety of project types during all phases from schematic design through construction administration.  We are an award winning architectural lighting design firm based in a sun-filled loft studio in DUMBO, Brooklyn. You will take part in designing, developing, managing, and documenting a variety of project types Support the firm project design process with prodigious design solutions, project imagery, research, and documentation Effectively convey conceptual design solutions to clients and colleagues through graphic design renderings Be proficient in communication of design ideas through graphic renderings At least 2 years of Architectural Lighting Design experience. Please include a resume and portfolio along with your application Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, familiarity with AGI32 Basic understanding of architectural practices, design protocols and methods Bachelor's Degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, or related is preferred LEED Certified or have a basic understanding of green design methods Note the office enjoys a flexible hybrid work model with a mix of in-person and remote work each week.
