Raise the visual design bar for the team, ensuring our UI is not only functional but distinctive and competitive.
Serve as a hands-on thought leader, shaping design critiques, mentoring peers, and elevating the craft culture across Udemy\'s global design org.
Influence design direction at a strategic level through storytelling and prototypes, without managing direct reports.
10+ years of product design experience, including consumer-facing products at scale.
~ A portfolio that demonstrates full-stack design excellenceinteraction, visual design, systems thinking, and shipped work that has real impact.
~ Expertise in motion and animation, with proven ability to make products feel alive, fluid, and intuitive.
~ Strong visual sensibility: typography, hierarchy, color, and layout at a pixel-perfect level.
~ Fluency with modern design and prototyping tools, including experience with AI-assisted design workflows.
~ Ability to inspire peers and influence executives through the strength of your design craft and storytelling.
~ Experience contributing to or extending design systems, ensuring consistency while pushing innovation.
~ A passion for lifelong learning and a desire to make education more accessible, engaging, and transformative worldwide.
You've shipped flagship learner features that are celebrated internally and externally for their clarity, craft, and competitive edge.
