Santa Fe Apparel is hiring: Assistant Designer in New York

We are looking for an assistant designer to join our team. You will be an integral part of our team, assisting the head of design and other team members in the creation and development of multiple apparel lines for men and women. Location: New York, NY Responsibilities Create and update CAD line sheets and decks for men and women apparel Create artwork pitch sheets for flat and 3D graphics Create swatch fills for CAD decks: both digital scanning and recreating via CAD Create color cards and swatch cards Tag and prepare incoming sales samples Maintain seasonal collection boards, fabric and graphic libraries, and sample logs Manage package send outs and returns Record, track, and follow up on sample requests General organizing and filing Maintain awareness of seasonal calendar and help support Design team to meet deadlines. Qualifications Expert in Illustrator and Photoshop Strong ability to sketch and create CADs for men and women's outdoor and active clothing Experience reviewing and sending feedback/adjustments in graphics Ability to work independently on projects Strong attention to detail Compensation $45-55K per year depending on experience Benefits Generous PTO policy Medical Vision 401K Commuter Short and Long Term Disability #J-18808-Ljbffr
