Senior Toy Designer – Job Description

We are looking for a full‑time Senior Toy Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate is a passionate toy designer who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, takes leadership in product development, and translates creative concepts into marketable products.
Job Type : Full‑time/Contract
Job Responsibilities
Brainstorm ideas and create concepts with the product/sales manager based on market and customer needs, ensuring design integrity in final deliverables.
Create concept drawings through sketches and 2D illustrations.
Collaborate with the graphic design team to decide and apply creative art/color combinations on 3D models.
Work with the product manager to produce templates with art/color mock‑ups.
Prepare product component lists and 3D model assemblies for manufacturing.
Serve as the central project leader from concept to product.
Manage project timelines.
Maintain consistent high quality, thoroughness, and attention to detail.
Communicate project progress, issues, and concerns to the Design Manager and Project Management in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications – Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
3–5 years of professional experience in Industrial Design, Toy Design, or an equivalent field.
Strong sketching and illustration skills.
Ability to validate ideas through sketch, breadboard, or 3D model.
Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, and 2D CAD programs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of 3D CAD (Alias, Rhino 3D a plus).
Understanding of materials and manufacturing processes for soft goods and plastics.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Project‑management aptitude.
Qualifications – Nice to Have
