Work Schedule Ally designates roles as (1) fully on‑site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. The Opportunity Ally is seeking a Sr Analyst, Advanced Analytics to join the Marketing Data, Measurement, and Analytics team. Reporting to the Marketing Analytics Director, this role will focus on quantifying the full impact of Ally’s marketing efforts. This position involves understanding the complete path to conversion, identifying appropriate measurement of each stage, building a comprehensive KPI framework, and advancing attribution analysis to influence strategic marketing decisions across all business lines.

The Work Itself
Perform hands‑on data analysis to identify key insights and trends, continuously asking “How can we improve performance?” and working with cross‑functional teams to advise on measurement (LOB Leads, Digital Marketing, CRM, Market Research, Content & Strategy teams)
Develop subject matter expertise in all sources of marketing measurement data: digital channels, organic social trends, awareness trends, site activity, etc.
Collaborate closely with channel leads and campaign owners to understand objectives and measurement plans
Leverage data science techniques and advanced quantitative methods (statistical modeling, machine learning, etc.) to generate actionable insights
Contribute to the development of KPIs to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Ally marketing spend across all channels
Work closely with various data owners across business lines to create a fluid ecosystem of business and marketing metrics
Develop measurement approaches for online and offline channels, seeking appropriate sources and linkages
Prepare and present reports showing marketing performance and trends over time, across all channels to a range of audiences
Use advanced coding to create predictive statistical and analytical models from the ground up
Skills
3+ years of experience in data science or advanced analytics required
Proficiency in SQL required
Proficiency in reporting & BI (Power BI, Tableau, Sigma), statistics, quantitative analysis required
Proficiency in advanced programming languages such as Python, R, SAS preferred
Experience with marketing metrics or measurements preferred
Bachelors degree in Analytics/Statistics, Marketing or other related field preferred
Clear understanding of conversion funnel metrics, analytics and levers for marketing success
Experience in marketing analytics at a marketing agency or client‑side marketing team preferred
Strong analytical ability
Proven ability to solve problems with data and improve business outcomes
Comfortable managing through ambiguity
Experience working across multiple teams to get the job done
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of an organization
Project and team management
Self‑starter with inquisitive nature

Base Pay Range $85,000 – $150,000 USD
An individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.
Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
