Hyperbound
Senior Product Designer (In-Person, San Francisco)
Hyperbound, California, Missouri, United States, 65018
We’re looking for a hungry, talented designer to join us in-person, 5 days/week at our San Francisco HQ in South Park.
Hyperbound (YC S23) is creating the Sales Performance OS, a new category of sales-tech that gives enterprise sales orgs an unfair advantage by observing, measuring, and scaling top-performer behaviors. This category is inevitable: within five years, every sales org will run on a system like this. Building a world-class product and design team is how we’ll stay the leader.
We just raised our
$15M Series A, closed $1M+ in new ARR two months in a row . The team is growing from 15 → 30+ this year, and you’ll be joining right before a period of rapid scaling. You’ll have massive ownership over product design, user experience, and the overall look and feel of our platform.
You’ll work directly with the founders, partner with our engineering team (ex-YC founding engineers, ex-YC founders, and more), and ship features to enterprise customers like LinkedIn, Monday.com, Autodesk, Vanta, Tipalti, and G2.
We’re the clear leaders in our space, and we’re looking for our
second designer
to help us define and scale a category-defining product experience.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the UI/UX design process for your projects, from early discovery to polished execution
Collaborate with founders, engineers, customers, and the marketing team
Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and prototypes to communicate and explore interaction ideas
Conduct user research and usability testing with SDRs, AEs, managers, and enablement leaders to iterate and improve design solutions
Collaborate with marketing to produce lightweight product visuals and assets (no video editing)
AI-Specific Design Challenges You’ll Work On
Designing interfaces that translate raw transcripts, audio, and AI-generated scoring into clear, trustworthy insights
Creating intuitive flows that help reps retry the exact moments where they struggled, based on AI-identified skill gaps
Crafting interaction patterns for agentic workflows, where AI suggests next actions, auto-generates simulations, or guides coaching
Balancing automation with user control so managers and reps understand why the AI is making certain recommendations
Bringing coherence to complex multi-surface experiences (web app, Chrome extension, analytics, simulations, learning modules) in a single design system
These are real, high-impact challenges our customers actively use across thousands of calls each week.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Product Designer or UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating interaction design, visual craft, and end-to-end product thinking
Very savvy with Figma, including component systems, prototyping, and autolayout
Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially with founders and engineers
Experience with AI, SaaS, or sales-related products is a plus
Ability to work in-person in San Francisco (5 days/week)
Nice to Have
Experience managing or scaling a design team
Experience working in a startup environment
Familiarity with design systems like Material Design, Shadcn, or Tailwind UI
Understanding of modern front-end development workflows (React, Tailwind, component-driven development)
