This is an on‑site position, located at 625 Polk Street, San Francisco.

Job Summary: As an onsite Cosplay Craft Instructor located at 625 Polk Street, you will be following the course outlines (with the help of the department leads), as well as teaching and guiding students in various cosplay crafting techniques and skills. You will inspire and empower cosplayers of all levels to explore their creativity, refine their craftsmanship, and produce high‑quality costumes and props.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop Curriculum: Create engaging and structured lesson plans and materials list covering a variety of cosplay crafting topics.
Onsite Instructor‑Led Classes: Conduct hands‑on 4.5‑hour classes ensuring an interactive and inclusive learning environment, demonstrate cosplay crafting techniques, tools, and materials effectively to students.
Skill Assessment: Assess and evaluate students’ progress, offering constructive feedback and guidance for improvement.
Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by teaching proper handling of tools and materials and promoting safety protocols.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated expertise in cosplay crafting techniques, strong portfolio of completed cosplay projects and a deep understanding of the cosplay community.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to explain concepts in a clear and accessible manner.
Experience in teaching or mentoring in a related field is a plus.
Basic knowledge of safety protocols and precautions when working with crafting tools and materials.
Compensation: $43.00 – $60.00 per hour for teaching and $19.18 per hour for all other non‑teaching work.
