Director of Product Marketing
Validitys Director of Product Marketing will drive business results by developing and executing effective product marketing strategies. This role builds and executes gotomarket strategies designed to drive product awareness and adoption, contributing to revenue growth. The candidate will craft differentiated messaging, refine product positioning, and translate customer needs into marketing inputs.
Position Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate crossfunctionally to define, develop, and communicate the product marketing strategy.
- Partner with product managementleveraging key market, buyer, and competitive insightsto inform the product roadmap.
- Develop valuebased messaging and positioning that communicates how Validity products uniquely address customer challenges, bringing the story to life through collateral, web content, use cases, videos, presentations, pitch decks, and more.
- Develop effective campaigns that drive brand awareness and customer interest to generate sales leads and grow revenue.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product adoption, customer engagement, and revenue generation to assess the effectiveness of product marketing strategies.
- Drive gotomarket planning and execution for new products and features, working crossfunctionally to ensure a successful launch and reporting on postlaunch KPIs.
- Ensure competitive intelligence is uptodate and that sales, marketing, and product teams are wellinformed with accurate, actionable information.
- Maintain and evangelize a deep understanding of our products, customers, prospects, competition, and market to internal teams and external audiences, ensuring clear communication and alignment on product roadmaps, key initiatives, and performance metrics.
Required Experience, Skills, and Education
- 8year minimum experience in Product Marketing for an Enterprise B2B organization.
- Deep understanding of product marketing principles, strategies, and best practices.
- Domain expertise within marketing success platforms and customer data management solutions, as well as digital marketing and email technologies.
- Understanding of Validitys target market and competitive landscape.
- Content expertise: strong messaging/positioning skills and solid writing skills for creating documents, presentations, articles, and compelling copy.
- Datadriven and resultsfocusedskilled at developing strategy and delivering handson, tactical execution.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills; ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to both internal and external audiences, translating technical complexity into clear, compelling narratives.
- Experience launching new products.
- Experience working in a highvelocity SaaS company focused on rapid growth and continuous innovation, requiring quick decisionmaking, agility, and a strong emphasis on speed to market and revenue growth.
- Understanding of the sales motions that underpin a highvelocity SaaS business.
Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education
- Bachelors degree in business, sales management, marketing, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Experience managing and scaling teams.
Salary
Salary range: $135,000 $155,000 plus benefits, bonus opportunities, and stock options. Final salary may vary depending on skills, location, and/or experience.
