Role Overview
As the Director of Product Marketing, youll lead the strategy and storytelling that connects our product vision to customer outcomes. Youll drive positioning, messaging, and gotomarket strategy that fuels awareness, adoption, and revenue across the student lifecycle.
What Youre Going To Do
- Lead Product Positioning & Narrative: Develop clear, compelling insightdriven positioning and messaging that articulate the problems we solve and the value we deliver. Translate complex capabilities into simple, powerful stories.
- Drive GoToMarket Strategy & Execution: Build and run endtoend GTM motions for new products, features, and enhancements. Partner closely with Product, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure every launch is coordinated and impactful.
- Lead Lifecycle & Segment Strategy: Design and optimize fullfunnel programs supporting awareness, adoption, expansion, and retention. Craft segmentspecific value propositions and lifecycle journeys.
- Build HighImpact Sales Enablement: Create messaging frameworks, competitive positioning, objection handling, pitch decks, battlecards, and training programs that empower Sales to close deals.
- Fuel Customer Adoption & Expansion: Partner with Customer Success to deepen product understanding, drive adoption, and create crosssell and upsell motions.
- Turn Insights Into Strategy: Provide market insights on customer needs, competitive shifts, and trends to inform product strategy and GTM prioritization.
- Elevate Mongooses Category Leadership: Shape our point of view on student engagement and lead thoughtleadership initiatives that strengthen our market authority.
- Collaborate Across the Company: Coordinate with Product, Sales, CS, Marketing, and Leadership to align on roadmap, messaging, campaigns, and field enablement.

- Strategic Product Marketer: Ability to move between bigpicture narrative and handson execution. Deep market knowledge, compelling storytelling, and crossfunctional partnership.
- Customer Marketing Mindset: Craft stories, programs, and enablement that attract new institutions and deepen engagement, expansion, and advocacy.
- Product Marketing Expertise: Proven experience in B2B SaaS positioning, messaging, and GTM strategy.
- Strategic Storytelling & Narrative Craft: Translate insights, data, and vision into resonant stories and buyer journeys.
- GTM Leadership & CrossFunctional Partnership: Align teams around launches, build readiness plans, and equip the field.
- Customer Marketing that Drives Adoption, Expansion & Advocacy: Build strategies that deepen engagement and amplify success stories.
- Sales Enablement that Moves Deals: Build battlecards, pitch decks, competitive briefs, and messaging guides.
- InsightsDriven Decision Making: Gather and synthesize market, competitive, and customer data.
