We work onsite 4+ days a week, with our team based in Auburn Hills, Michigan, and Juneau, Wisconsin. Our team of 700+ passionate pet people thrives on collaboration, innovation, and the occasional office cameo from a four-legged friend.
What You’ll Do The Production Designer will transform creative concepts into production-ready materials, ensuring accuracy, brand consistency, and high-quality execution across multiple platforms. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on precision, collaboration, and balancing creativity with technical expertise. You’ll play a key role in bringing ideas to life for a forward-thinking pet-tech company, crafting engaging visuals that connect pet parents to smarter, happier living. Essential Duties and Responsibilities This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary.
Translates design concepts into production-ready files for print, digital, and environmental assets
Ensures all creative materials align with brand standards and technical specifications
Supports the creative team with layout adjustments, versioning, and resizing of assets as needed
Collaborates closely with creative teams, marketers, and vendors to deliver accurate, on-time materials
Conducts QA checks, troubleshoots design issues, and prepares files for various outputs
Manages multiple projects, files, and versions simultaneously, balancing deadlines and attention to detail
Maintains organized file systems and documentation for efficient workflows
Will perform additional responsibilities when required
What You’ll Bring
BA/BS in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field, and / or equivalent years of experience
5-10+ years of experience as a production designer, graphic designer, or in a related design/production role
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and knowledge of digital/print production processes
Strong eye for detail, accuracy, typography, and layout design
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Knowledge of prepress, file setup, and vendor communication
Maintains confidentiality of proprietary information
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with Team Members and colleagues
Comfortable with office pets (cats, dogs)
