Responsibilities
Conduct analyses to develop electrical design options, performing modeling and/or calculations
Assist with preparing cost estimates or specifications
Perform routine engineering and design tasks and participate in field reviews or construction observation
Work under the direct supervision of a Project Engineer, APM, or PM
May independently work on small tasks and may assist senior engineers on larger, more complex projects
Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
2 years of experience doing electrical power system analysis, electrical system planning, protective device application, settings and substation design is highly preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, MicroStation
Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate. Candidates without their EIT will be placed into a SPS Designer position and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression
Some travel may be required
Desire to pursue growth opportunities and obtain registration
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Computer skills in Microsoft Office
An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee‑owned culture
