or .The Director of Digital Merchandising and Content is a strategic, creative, and analytical leader responsible for shaping the digital shopping experience on Vans.com across the US and Canada. This role works closely with Marketing, Merchandising, Planning, and Technology teams to deliver a best-in-class digital customer experience. This role sits on the eCommerce Team, reporting into the Head of eCommerce, and reports into the Vans HQ 3 days/week (Costa Mesa).Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.* Drive the digital merchandising strategy and execution, and oversee a robust content calendar that balances storytelling and commercial priorities with data driven insights* Lead and mentor a team of Site Merchandisers, Content Planners, and Search Engine Optimization Specialists* Partner with cross-functional teams to drive critical business outcomes:
+ Partner with Tech and Product Teams to prioritize and implement new tools and features that elevate the site experience and drive conversion
+ Partner closely with Merchandising and Marketing Teams, to develop customer-first content that drives engagement and conversion
+ Partner with Planning Teams to deliver against financial goals* Leverage reporting and analytics to drive actionable insights that drive continuous improvement and innovation* Develop best-in-class, scalable digital merchandising processes and reporting that drive both efficiency and effectivenessWe all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day.
