Position Summary Lead and develop the Communications & Marketing function, providing clarity around expectations and priorities. Maintain a healthy culture, clear communication rhythms, and accountability for outcomes. Serve on YFCNIN’s Leadership Team and align department work with Leadership Team direction while collaborating with the development team.

Lead and develop the Communications & Marketing function, providing clarity around expectations and priorities.
Maintain healthy culture, clear communication rhythms, and accountability for outcomes.

Brand, Marketing, and Messaging
Steward the YFCNIN brand and lead all marketing strategies across platforms.
Oversee creation of content, campaigns, and storytelling aligned with mission and YFC standards.
Use data and engagement insights to guide decisions and improve reach and impact.
Events
Provide strategic direction and desired outcomes for major YFCNIN events.
Oversee communications and marketing support for event execution.
Approve themes, budgets, timelines, and final deliverables.
Internal Communications
Ensure clear, consistent communication across departments and ministry teams.
Maintain internal updates, calendars, messaging systems, and information flow.
Equip staff with tools and aligned messaging to support clarity.
External Communications
Oversee all outward-facing communication with donors, partners, volunteers, and the community.
Lead digital, email, website, social, and print communication strategies.
Ensure timely communication around events, campaigns, and ministry impact.
Encourage and resource momentum, movement, and engagement within YFCNIN communities pertaining to marketing materials.
Fundraising Responsibilities All YFC regular full‑time employees will be given the opportunity to be involved in the stewardship functions of YFC/USA. These opportunities could include fundraising events, circle of influence/YFC donor contacts, and other opportunities as provided.
Spiritual Responsibilities Because the overriding religious purpose and mission of Youth for Christ USA is to communicate and introduce the Gospel of Jesus Christ to young people and their families, it is very important that you as an employee in the movement of Youth for Christ be recognized as an associate minister of the Gospel.
As an employee of Youth for Christ and a minister of the Gospel, YFC expects all employees to: Seek God’s guidance and wisdom, through prayer and meditation, for the organization as a whole as well as for specific ministry initiatives; Model empathy, humility and care for all people. Position Requirements Skills & Knowledge
An authentic and abiding personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
A deep and driving desire to see young people find hope in Jesus.
A genuine hope for community transformation.
High level of skill in communication, presentation, organization, networking, self‑motivation, public speaking, creative thinking, sales, and problem solving.
Efficient in content creation, project management, and execution of tasks.
Experience with website management.
Education & Experience
5+ years of proven leadership experience.
5+ years of communications experience (agency experience desired).
Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience).
