The Role Cascadia School is seeking a Communications & Enrollment Manager to be the storyteller and relationship builder at the heart of our community. You’ll bring the Cascadia story to life through compelling content and authentic connections—managing our enrollment pipeline while strengthening relationships with current and prospective families and community partners. This role is the operational and creative glue that allows our team to focus on our mission, while you ensure every touchpoint reflects it and supports families throughout their journey with us.
The ideal candidate is an exceptional writer and a natural partnership-builder who can juggle logistics, craft engaging narratives, and create systems that work.
Breakdown of What You’ll Do Enrollment Pipeline Management (40%)
Own the complete enrollment funnel from inquiry to enrollment decision, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional family experience
Manage the Ravenna CRM system: track leads, coordinate tours, process applications, and maintain accurate data
Orchestrate logistics for school tours, open houses, shadow days, and admission events
Partner with preschools, HR departments, and community organizations to build diverse applicant pipelines
Continuously evaluate and improve the enrollment process, identifying friction points and recommending solutions
Storytelling & Content Creation (40%)
Write compelling weekly communications to current families highlighting classroom moments and school happenings
Create social media content that brings our educational approach to life
Develop marketing materials, email campaigns, and website content that attract mission-aligned families
Capture and share authentic stories from our community through photos and written narratives
Translate our educational philosophy into language that resonates with diverse audiences
Community Building & Partnerships (20%)
Cultivate relationships with external partners (preschools, corporations, community organizations) to diversify enrollment
Support planning and execution of 2-3 major community events annually
Serve as primary point of contact for prospective families, embodying Cascadia's values in every interaction
Collaborate with leadership on enrollment strategy and family engagement initiatives

2+ years of experience – communications, marketing, community engagement, or related field
Experience in the education sector is helpful but not essential— we value transferable skills and will teach you about schools.

Leadership can focus on strategy, knowing enrollment and communication operations are in capable hands
Salary and Benefits:
Salary:
$57,000-$72,000 (depending on experience)
Comprehensive health, dental, vision, and disability insurance
401(k) with 6% match (increasing to 7% in 2026)
Excellent work-life balance: School calendar means approximately 7 weeks of scheduled breaks annually (Thanksgiving Break, Christmas/New Year's break, mid-winter break, spring break, plus federal holidays)
Generous leave policies: up to 16 weeks of parental leave, plus paid sick leave and personal days
Summer schedule: Remote/hybrid work flexibility during summer months (supervisor approval)
