Our client is a large global Marketing and Corporate Affairs agency with offices throughout north America, LATAM and Europe. We are seeking a dynamic and well-connected Senior Director of Business Development to lead growth efforts and elevate the firm’s presence in the Miami and Florida market. This is a high-impact, strategic role for a seasoned professional who thrives in consultative selling, relationship-building, and driving new business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Strategy :
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities in the Miami and Florida markets.
  • Develop and execute a day business development plan to quickly establish momentum.
  • Focus on capital markets and other strategic industries, leveraging networks to access C-suite decision-makers.
  • Market Leadership :
  • Establish the firm as a top corporate affairs and marketing agency in the region.
  • Represent the company at key industry events, conferences, and organizations to enhance visibility and reputation.
  • Client Acquisition :
  • Drive lead generation, pipeline development, and conversion efforts.
  • Build strong relationships with potential clients and create tailored strategies to meet their business needs.
  • Transition new clients seamlessly to the account team after acquisition.
  • Collaboration & Reporting :
  • Work closely with global leaders to provide reporting, feedback, and updates on progress.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to utilize Salesforce CRM for lead tracking and top-of-funnel activity.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of business development success, ideally in strategic advisory, marketing services, or corporate communications.
  • Strong network in the Miami and Florida markets, with established C-suite relationships.
  • Expertise in consultative selling and navigating longer sales cycles.
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms for lead tracking and pipeline management.
  • Ability to identify key industry opportunities and position the company for success.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary : Up to $220,000 dependent on experience
  • Bonus : Up to 25%
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including PTO, 401(k), and Healthcare insurance.
