The Marketing and Creative Services Producer will be responsible for developing promotions and image campaigns from concept to completion. Creative scripting, shooting, graphics/animation, and editing experience are required. Applicants must submit a reel to be considered. Essential Duties: Collaborate with stakeholders and department staff on conceptualization and production of on-air station image and promotions, primarily focusing on news. Manage multiple projects with varying production styles, employing strong customer service skills. Extensive experience in editing and creating animations on deadline. Work within After Effects, Adobe Creative Suite, and project management systems. Requirements & Skills: College degree preferred. Advanced knowledge of post-production processes, including media management and encoding videos in various formats. Broad understanding of marketing and design, with the ability to translate brand visual identity and style guides into daily projects. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition, and Media Encoder on a PC platform. Ability to multitask daily and manage multiple projects simultaneously, especially in breaking news situations. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong understanding of fundamental design principles, with a good sense of color, typography, and composition. Meet all deadlines, fulfill scheduling commitments, and adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment. Excellent communication skills to update project status, coordinate assets, and provide customer service across teams. Ensure creative work aligns with brand guidelines, legal requirements, and the vision set by the Director. Stay updated on industry best practices to incorporate innovative ideas into projects. This is an in-office position located in Kansas City, Missouri. Physical Demands & Work Environment: The producer must be able to stand, sit, conduct telephone conversations, use email, write letters and memos, conduct face-to-face discussions, make independent decisions, and work near others. Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and indoors in controlled environments is required. The role involves lifting and operating equipment weighing up to 40 pounds and handling objects, tools, or controls. Repetitive movements are expected, and work may occur in very bright or poor lighting conditions.
