Ownfluent
OwnFluent is seeking energetic Social Media Content Creators to bring our brand to life across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms. You’ll craft on-trend, snackable content – short videos, graphics, carousels, Stories/Reels—that showcase our immersive English-learning modules, engage our global community, and drive new user sign-ups.
Responsibilities: Concept & Storyboarding
Brainstorm and pitch fresh content ideas aligned with monthly themes, product launches, and seasonal campaigns.
Develop briefs, shot lists, and storyboards for short-form videos (Reels, TikToks), carousel posts, and interactive Stories.
Content Production & Editing
Shoot or assemble footage (screen recordings, user testimonials, voice-overs) and edit using tools like Premiere Pro, CapCut, or InShot.
Design branded graphics, motion-text overlays, and animated elements in Canva, After Effects, or Photoshop.
Write punchy, platform-optimized captions, hooks, and CTAs that drive engagement (likes, shares, saves) and traffic to our app/website.
Craft on-brand hashtag strategies and ensure accessibility with clear subtitles and alt text.
Publishing & Scheduling
Maintain a rolling content calendar in tools like Later or Hootsuite, scheduling posts at optimal times for our key markets (US, UK, AU, NZ, IN).
Coordinate with the Social Media Manager to align on paid-boosted posts and cross-channel promotion.
Trendspotting & Community Engagement
Monitor platform trends (audio challenges, filters, memes) and rapidly adapt them to our learning context.
Curate and re-post high-value UGC (student success stories, before/after pronunciation snippets) to strengthen community bonds.
Performance Analysis & Iteration
Track content metrics (views, engagement rate, saves, shares) and report weekly insights.
Use data to refine formats, posting cadence, and creative approaches for continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years creating social-first multimedia content for a consumer brand or ed-tech product.
Proficiency with short-form video editing (Premiere Pro, CapCut) and graphic design (Canva, Photoshop).
Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and platform best practices.
Excellent written communication and copywriting chops, with flair for concise, engaging captions.
Familiarity with social-media management tools (Hootsuite, Later) and native analytics dashboards.
Ability to work quickly under tight deadlines and pivot on emerging trends.
Passion for language learning, cultural exchange, or education technology is a plus.
Provide expert guidance on developing an AI strategy
